More recent studies by Chorzalska et al. show that bone marrow (BM)-specific loss of Abi1 results in abnormal hematopoietic cell development including anemia, premature exhaustion of BM hematopoietic stem cells, myeloproliferative neoplasm, and defects in B cell development [34]. This evidence concerns the gene ABI1 and myeloproliferative disorder.
