These findings imply that KPNB1 is related to the malignancy of HNSCC; therefore, we next examined whether KPNB1 is functionally involved in the proliferation as well as the viability of HNSCC cell lines (SAS and Ca9-22) using the knockdown of KPNB1 by siRNA transfection or the KPNB1 inhibitor IPZ.
