CRH and myeloid sarcoma: In fact, in mice MS in the neonatal period caused persistent hypomethylation of the promoter region of the vasopressin gene in the paraventricular nucleus.26 It was also reported that MS in the neonatal period caused hypomethylation of the corticotropin‐releasing hormone (CRH) promotor area and hypothalamic pituitary adrenal axis hypersensitivity.27 This epigenetic modulation could result in the long‐lasting upregulation of CRH transcriptional activity in the hypothalamic paraventricular nucleus.
