Furthermore, the available data showed that at least 80% of SCC and NSCLC NOS samples (i.e. 12 of 14 and 16 of 20 cases respectively) presented no KRAS mutations compared with only 60% (i.e. 142 of 236) for ADC samples (P=0.041). The gene discussed is KRAS; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
