To investigate changes in astroglial scar formation, one of the hazardous factors for neuronal regeneration following stroke, in the damaged brain after ep-iPSC-NPC transplantation, immunofluorescence staining for astrogliosis markers (GFAP) was performed in the three tested groups (n = 5 per group) (Figure 7(a)).
