Interestingly, higher mRNA expression of GBP2 (HR = 0.76, 95% CI: 0.58–1, P = 0.047), GBP4 (HR = 0.66, 95% CI: 0.48–0.91, P = 0.0099), GBP6 (HR = 0.68, 95% CI: 0.52–0.9, P = 0.0056) and GBP7 (HR = 0.69, 95% CI: 0.53–0.91, P = 0.0081) were significantly associated with longer overall survival (OS) of HNSCC patients.
