CD163 and ovarian serous carcinoma: In the latter group (data not yet published), the percentage of M1 cells (CD14+/CD80+/Glut+) was significantly lower (31 ± 10% vs 62.5 ± 18, 95% CI: 10.5–51.4; p = 0.011), and the percentage of M2 cells (CD14+/CD163+) was significantly higher (45 ± 11% vs 24 ± 6.9, 95% CI: 4.5–34.6; p = 0.003) than in the high-grade serous ovarian carcinoma group (Fig. 1A).
