The univariable analysis showed that male sex (β = 0.16, SE 0.006, p = 0.002), smoking (β = 0.13, SE 0.004, p = 0.01) and pancolitis (β = 0.35, SE 0.004, p = 0.001) were significantly associated with lower baseline proportions of PNAd+ venules in UC patients (Table 4A). Here, NTAN1 is linked to pancolitis.
