BCL2 and neuroblastoma: To summarize the results of our in vitro study, we showed that BJ markedly inhibited 6-OHDA-induced apoptosis in differentiated human neuroblastoma SH-SY5Y cells, through mitigating the ROS and NO generation, the mitochondrial dysfunctions and the imbalance of Bcl-2 family proteins, as well as reducing the activation of MAPKs and the nuclear translocation of NF-ĸB.
