The anti-THPO antibody was reported to be found in patients with amegakaryocytic thrombocytopenic purpura [8], idiopathic thrombocytopenia purpura (ITP) [9], systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) [10,11], in those treated with rhTHPO [12,13] and recombinant human erythropoietin [14]. The gene discussed is EPO; the disease is autoimmune thrombocytopenic purpura.
