Real-time PCR analysis revealed that exposure of macrophages to AnaR-CM leads to an increase in the expression levels of the immunosuppressive markers Arginase 1 (ARG1) and interleukin-10 (IL10), concomitant with a decrease in the expression levels of the tumor inhibitor markers inducible NO synthase (INOS) and IL12, as typically observed in tumor-associated macrophages (TAMs). This evidence concerns the gene ARG1 and neoplasm.
