And the Cox regression analysis with clinicopathological factors showed that the high mRNA expression of STC2 led to poor prognosis in pancreatic cancer patients (hazard ratio, HR=3.26, 95% CI: 2.34-8.64, p<0.01), which was slightly better than the predictive value of tumor size and lymph node metastasis (Table 2). Here, STC2 is linked to metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
