In inflammation-associated diseases like coronary atherosclerosis (You et al., 2009; Bonta et al., 2010), tumor (Lee et al., 2011; To et al., 2012) and neurodegenerative disease (Montarolo et al., 2016; Wei et al., 2016), NR4A1 was proved to be up-regulated and approaches targeting NR4A1 could partially ameliorate disease progression. This evidence concerns the gene NR4A1 and coronary atherosclerosis.
