Previous studies have shown that ANXA2 increases the phosphorylation of STAT3 on tyrosine 705 (pSTAT3) [17], and that OSMR is a direct transcriptional target of STAT3 in GBM [14], suggesting that ANXA2 may upregulate OSMR expression by inducing STAT3 phosphorylation.
