Further refinement analysis of correlation between TFPI2 and clinic pathologic characteristics of breast cancer patients indicated that among the 50 patients, low expression of TFPI2 (N = 25) was significantly related to tumor size (P = 0.005), metastasis (P = 0.018) and pathological stage (P = 0.010) (Table 2), suggesting the potential of TFPI2 as a prognostic biomarker for breast cancer. Here, TFPI2 is linked to breast carcinoma.
