EphA2, a 130‐kDa, 976‐amino acid transmembrane glycoprotein, is highly expressed in many human cancers such as non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and can be treated as a new target for drug delivery and cancer treatment.22, 23, 24 In our previous work, the YSA peptide with YSAYPDSVPMMSK sequence has been proven to be a targeting motif that mediates drug delivery to tumor cells expressing EphA2.25 The structural formula of YSA is shown in Figure S1. This evidence concerns the gene EPHA2 and cancer.
