With respect to the relationship between the density scores of ST2-positive cells and FoxP3-positive Tregs in different compartments and the clinicopathological features of patients with adenoma/CRC, we found that increased density of ST2-positive stromal cells was correlated with dysplastic degree grading in the adenoma, and with advanced TNM stages and lymph node involvement in the CRC. The gene discussed is FOXP3; the disease is adenoma.
