With respect to the relationship between the density scores of ST2-positive cells and FoxP3-positive Tregs in different compartments and the clinicopathological features of patients with adenoma/CRC, we found that increased density of ST2-positive stromal cells was correlated with dysplastic degree grading in the adenoma, and with advanced TNM stages and lymph node involvement in the CRC. Here, FOXP3 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
