The RNA-binding protein, RNA m6A reader IGF2BP1, was particularly interesting, because the protein score of IGF2BP1 was TOP5 in the identified RBRP interactors, RNA m6A modification play an important role in the hallmark of cancer, and IGF2BP1 regulates the level of an important oncogene c-Myc and tumorigenesis6,19,20, consistent with the oncogenic roles of RBRP in tumorigenesis. This evidence concerns the gene IGF2BP1 and cancer.
