Interestingly, these effects were strongly attenuated after treatment with recombinant FGF21 proteins by intraperitoneal injection, as accompanied by the improvement of pathologic status in cerulein‐induced AP mice (Figure 4), suggesting that the protective of FGF21 on cerulein‐induced acute pancreatic injury may be related to the activation of autophagy in mice. This evidence concerns the gene FGF21 and alkaline phosphatase measurement.
