For PC2, top positively correlated genes included IFITM1 and GPX1, both have been reported to be associated with risk of numerous cancers (Ravn-Haren et al., 2006; Arsova-Sarafinovska et al., 2009; Lee et al., 2012; Ogony et al., 2016), while most negatively PC2 correlated genes included common-known tumor over-expressed genes such as EFNA1 (Nakamura et al., 2005; Xiang-Dan et al., 2010). This evidence concerns the gene GPX1 and cancer.
