Interestingly, a formation of dense vimentin aggregates was observed in other cell lines after exposure to simulated microgravity: papillary thyroid carcinoma cells (exposed to clinostat for 30 min [47]), human chondrocytes (Random Positioning Machines, (RPM) for 24 h [48]), breast cancer cells (RPM for 24 h [49]).
