Finally, we validated the relationship between TNFAIP8 and EMT-specific epithelial genes (such as E-cadherin and ZO-1) and mesenchymal genes (such as N-cadherin and Vimentin) by qPCR, WB, IHC, and IF, confirming that TNFAIP8 regulates EMT-related molecule expression and ultimately affects the EMT process in ccRCC. This evidence concerns the gene TJP1 and nonpapillary renal cell carcinoma.
