Univariate Cox regression analysis showed that age, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, CV and cerebrovascular diseases, BMI, HGB, ALB, hs-CRP, Scr, and UA (each 100 μmol/L reduction) were associated with all-cause mortality, but further multivariate Cox regression showed that only age, hs-CRP, and Scr were independent risk factors for all-cause mortality. The gene discussed is CYGB; the disease is diabetes mellitus.
