The bioinformatics analytical tool TargetScan was employed to comprehend the activity of miR‐155‐3p and its potential target genes in glioblastoma and found matching the 3′‐UTR of Six1 matched and the miR‐155‐3p sequence, as confirmed by transfecting the luciferase report vector construct harbouring the Six1 3′‐UTR in U87 cells (Figure 4A).
