In addition, in the tumor tissues of the NP-BEZ235-Ab group and the NP-BEZ235-Ab+γ-ray combination group, the phosphorylation levels of PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling pathway-related molecules were significantly inhibited (Fig. 10c), suggesting that NP-BEZ235-Ab can effectively inhibit the activation of PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling pathway in tumor tissues in vivo, thereby inhibiting the signal axis in tumor tissues: γ-ray irradiation DNA damage signal-Akt phosphorylation-cell survival’s feedback activation, thereby, synergistically enhanced the killing effect of γ-ray on tumors.
