UCP2 and breast cancer: Figure 2D shows a remarkably significant increase in UCP2 protein expression levels when cells were treated with SeMet at both concentrations (+42% for 10 nM and +113% for 10 μM), in addition to a decrease in UCP2 protein levels when cells were treated with SeCys at 10 μM (−24%).
