Casanova-Salas et al. ( 28 ) studied 92 patients of prostate cancer undergoing needle biopsy, and proposed a prediction model involving miR-187, urine PCA3 and serum PSA with a sensitivity of 88.6% and specificity of 50% specificity and 69.3% diagnostic precision, which was significantly higher than PSA alone. This evidence concerns the gene PCA3 and prostate cancer.
