GAD1 and generalized anxiety disorder: The study by Esser et al. demonstrated that GAD‐7 and HADS‐A had sufficient diagnostic accuracy and were therefore suitable for GAD screening in cancer patients.24 In this study, the HAD scale showed that the incidence of anxiety was 31.3%, depression was 19.4%, and the GAD‐7 scale showed that the incidence of anxiety was 59.3%, indicating that anxiety and depression were common among patients with lung nodules, and is consistent with Christopher's findings.
