The results presented in this paper, showing the frequency of genetic variants GSTM1, GSTT1, and GSTP1 confirm the lack of connection of glutathione S-transferase T1 and P1 polymorphisms with the risk of prostate cancer; however, they do not support claims that GSTM1 genetic variants may play a role in increasing the risk of this cancer. Here, HPGDS is linked to cancer.
