Considering the critical role of IRAK1 in TLR signaling (20, 28), and of c-REL and ICOS in GC formation (29, 33), these results strongly suggested that miR-146a downregulation could significantly contribute to persistent innate immune activation, sustained inflammation, and follicular hyperplastic changes in the thymus of MG patients. Here, IRAK1 is linked to myasthenia gravis.
