In accordance with the increased expression of Kv10.1 channels from low-grade dysplasia to cervical cancer in transgenic mice treated with estrogens (0.05 mg pellets subcutaneously inserted) (Ramírez et al., 2018), Kv10.1 protein expression is also increased in human samples from cervical dysplasia and cancer, as well as in patients taking estrogens.
