In contrast, here, Study 2 resulted in a pathological pattern that included focal demyelination inside the CNS and a subsequent outside infiltration of CD8+ T-cell into the CNS, closely resembling the pattern observed in type III MS lesion in humans that is characterized by severe oligodendrocytosis and T-cell infiltration (presence of T-lymphocytes, macrophages and large numbers of oligodendrocytes loss; Lucchinetti et al., 2000).
