CACNA1G and Bordetella Infections: According to the public databases of the Genotype-Tissue Expression (GTEx) (https://www.gtexportal.org/home/) project (Table S4) and BioGPS (http://biogps.org/#goto=welcome), CACNA1G (human) and Cacna1g (mouse) are dominantly expressed in the cerebellum and other brain tissues and in female genital organs, suggesting that these tissues are targeted by DNT in Bordetella infection.
