Subsequent applications of real-time quantitative PCR, Western blot, and immunohistochemistry to measure mRNA and protein expression of FRAT1, β-catenin in Wnt signaling transduction in glioma tissues of the tumor-bearing mice indicated that low FRAT1 mRNA and protein expressions in xenograft mice, accompanied with downregulated mRNA and protein expressions of β-catenin. This evidence concerns the gene FRAT1 and glioma.
