As shown in Figure 7A, immunofluorescence double staining of TREM-1 and F4/80 in liver sections from mice revealed that TREM-1+ and F4/80+ cells almost overlapped; and the staining signal of TREM-1 in NASH and fibrotic liver is stronger than NCD-treated liver. Here, TREM1 is linked to metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis.
