A Venn diagram showed that the two mouse models shared a total of 33 differentially expressed genes (DEGs), including the protein tyrosine phosphatase receptor type f (Ptprf) gene, which is associated with insulin resistance, and the beta-myosin heavy chain gene (Myh7) gene, which is associated with cardiomyopathy (Figure 5A and B).
