In overall survival analysis, univariate analysis showed that AFP level > 200 ng/mL, tumor size > 5 cm, TNM stage III and IV, poor histology grade, and HCC with β-catenin (high) and Chibby (low) were risk factors for mortality; multivariate analysis showed AFP level > 200 ng/mL (p = 0.021), TNM stage III and IV (p < 0.001), and β-catenin (high) and Chibby (low) (p = 0.005) were significantly associated with mortality (Table 3).
