We demonstrated statistically significant differences in CXCL-8 concentrations between tumor stages using the Kruskal–Wallis test (p = 0.029) and confirmed them with the post hoc Dwass–Steele–Critchlow–Fligner test in patients with stage III and IV of CRC (p = 0.021; data not shown). Here, CXCL8 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
