CDKN2B anti-sense RNA (CDKN2B-AS1) spans about 126.3 kb andoverlaps with CDKN2B (p15) at the 5’ end and comprises of 20 exonsthat are prone to alternative splicing (Jarinovaet al., 2009) and reported to be linked to CAD risk(Matsuoka et al., 2015;Dehghan et al., 2016),hypertension (Bayoglu et al.,2016) and stroke (Bai etal., 2014). Here, CDKN2B is linked to stroke disorder.
