Systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis (sJIA) is an auto-inflammatory disease characterized by high spiking fever, evanescent skin rash, arthritis, and remarkable overexpression of pro-inflammatory cytokines, such as interleukin (IL)-1, IL-6, and tumor growth factor-alpha (TNF-α) [1]. The gene discussed is IL6; the disease is systemic-onset juvenile idiopathic arthritis.
