The FGF19 levels were lower in the osteoporosis and osteopenia groups (5105.0±2567.1 and 4915.1±2413.2 pg/mL, respectively) than in the healthy control group (7107.7±4240.1 pg/mL; p=0.006 and 0.016, respectively). This evidence concerns the gene FGF19 and osteoporosis.
