The results indicated that FIGO stage (HR = 2.490, P < 0.001), histological grade (HR = 1.575, P = 0.041), lymph node metastasis (HR = 3.341, P < 0.001), Snail (HR = 2.238, P = 0.001), Slug (HR = 1.785, P = 0.012), Twist (HR = 2.131, P = 0.001), Vimentin (HR = 2.226, P = 0.001), Survivin (HR = 1.791, P = 0.012), and E-cadherin (HR = 2.612, P < 0.001) were significantly associated with an increased risk of death. This evidence concerns the gene TWIST1 and metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
