VIM and cervical carcinoma: Scatter dot plot showed that the staining score (mean ± SD) of other transcription factors and markers, including Slug, ZEB1, Twist, Vimentin, and Survivin, were increased in cervical carcinoma compared with normal tissues (high/low score 3.21 ± 1.80 vs. 2.93 ± 1.74, P = 0.29; high/low score 3.14 ± 1.72 vs. 2.66 ± 1.83, P = 0.08; high/low score 3.22 ± 1.68 vs. 2.34 ± 1.94, P = 0.002; high/low score 3.12 ± 1.73 vs. 2.63 ± 1.95, P = 0.09, respectively) (Supplementary Figure S1).
