Consistently, the mRNA levels of MMP-2, MMP-9, FN, ITGAV, VIMENTIN, and TWIST were effectively suppressed by ODZ10117 in glioblastoma and primary glioblastoma cell lines (Figure 3D), which suggests that ODZ10117 may suppress cancer metastasis by inhibiting the expression of target genes associated with STAT3-dependent migration and invasion in glioblastoma.
