TNF and myocardial infarction: Song et al. [15] demonstrated that treatment with dabigatran significantly inhibited the activities of the P65 of nuclear factor κB (NF-κB), tumor necrosis factor α (TNFα), interleukin (IL)-1β and IL-6 and significantly enhanced those of the catalase and superoxide dismutase in the acute myocardial infarction in rabbits.
