TTR and gastric cancer: In accordance with the above study, we determined that the optimal cut-off value of 140 mg/L had the maximum chi-square value related to disease-specific survival and indicated that the 5-year survival rate of patients with low prealbumin was significantly lower than that of patients with high prealbumin, demonstrating that the preoperative prealbumin level was an independent prognostic factor for patients with GC.
