IL17A and crescentic glomerulonephritis: We have recently described that the serum levels of IL-17C are significantly higher in patients with ANCA-associated glomerulonephritis compared to a healthy control group, which was not true for IL-17A, F, and B. We showed the pro-inflammatory role of IL-17C in established mouse models for lupus nephritis and crescentic glomerulonephritis.
