IGHG3 and cholesteryl ester measurement: The antibody profile observed here is comparable to the previous understanding that IgG1 and IgG4 are increased in patients with active and transitional cysts in CE patients; and that the CE patients show a specific IgG response against hydatid crude antigen with the dominance of IgG1, IgG2 and IgG4 antibodies, but relatively lower affinity of IgG3 to this antigen [6, 27].
