HIF1A and Parkinson disease: In conclusion, we have proved that activated HIF-1α/miR-128-3p axis inhibits hippocampal neurodegeneration in a MPTP-lesioned mouse model of PD via activation of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway through targeting Axin1. Thus, elevated HIF-1α/miR-128-3p may present promising new target for developing therapeutic treatments for patients with PD.
