In a recent study, BATF2 was found to be overexpressed in tissues from patients with nonresponsive GC and the SGC7901/VCR cells, and BATF2 overexpression suppressed the levels of AP‐1 and P‐gp, by which BATF2 inhibits MDR in the resistant GC cells [17]. This evidence concerns the gene BATF2 and gastric cancer.
