To explore the underlying molecular mechanisms involved in the miR-27a-mediated anti-tumor activity of APS in OC cells, we relied on TargetScan 7.0 and miRanda to predict the targets of miR-27a and identified FBXW7 as a potential target of miR-27a (Figure 5A), which has previously been reported to be a tumor suppressor in various types of human cancers. The gene discussed is FBXW7; the disease is neoplasm.
